"For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain comes down from heaven..."
This passage fits our circumstance quite perfectly.
We left western Kentucky a day early so that we would miss the foul weather and be able to get out...now we are nearly in the same predicament here in Tennessee. We cannot get to our flight at 12noon, so we now we'll be trying for a flight this evening.
We are trusting the Lord and praying for wisdom on what to do. I'm thankful that we were able to make it to my aunt's house and we have somewhere to stay! We've been watching the local news...there have been numerous wrecks including a twelve car crash and another three car crash which resulted in two deaths. Even a police car wrecked on its way to a crash.
Please keep everyone in this area in your prayers!! We are safe here at our family's home, but there are a lot of people out on the road who need your prayers.
Let's play Pollyanna's "glad game".
Now we have more time to be with my aunt and cousin who's work has been canceled! :)
